United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC), a leading commercial real estate and facilities management company, organized a “Job Shadowing” workshop with INJAZ for students from Kuwait International English School.
6 UPAC employees participated in a “Job Shadowing” workshop, where 20 high school students were mentored by UPAC employees through the sharing of their own respective work experiences and responsibilities. Students were given an overview presentation about the organization’s structure and type of business it conducts, and then taken on a tour of Kuwait International Airport’s sites including the control room, conveyor belts and plant room, to gain a greater understanding of the company’s line of business and operations.
INJAZ connects corporate volunteers to mentor youth through “JA Worldwide®” programs, designed to train volunteers prior to embarking on a youth mentoring experience. This orientation program allows volunteers an opportunity to enhance their mentoring skills and performance during mentoring sessions to ensure an inspiring overall experience.
This is the third year in which UPAC has supported INJAZ Kuwait through various mentoring programs. To find out more about UPAC’s corporate social responsibility activities, please visit the company’s bilingual website: www.upac.com.kw
