United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) and National Real Estate Company (NREC) celebrated the opening of Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment’s Snow Abu Dhabi, the capital’s first indoor snow park, at Reem Mall.
The Snow Abu Dhabi inauguration ceremony took place on 7 June. It featured a ribbon cutting withthe presence of His Excellency Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of Tourism, Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi; Ignace Lahoud, Chief Executive Officer, Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment; and Mohammad El Etri, Vice President, Global Snow, Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, along with Faisal Jamil Sultan Al-Essa, Vice Chairman and CEO of NREC, and Nadia Akil, Vice Chairperson and CEO of UPAC.

The snow park is located in the heart of Reem Mall, Abu Dhabi’s latest signature retail, leisure, dining and entertainment destination. Snow Abu Dhabi covers a sprawling 9,732 SQM. Storytelling is integrated into the design through an Enchanted Forest that creates a playful frost-covered world. The highly anticipated destination features 20 rides and attractions such as the Crystal Carousel, Polar Express Train, Flight of the Snowy Owl, Snowflake Garden and Enchanted Tree. Guests can look forward to a whole host of snowy adventures such as sledding, carousels, zorbing and zip-lining throughout the year. Complementing the experience, Snow Abu Dhabi has three F&B outlets where guests can enjoy delicious snacks and dishes, as they dine surrounded by real snow.
